The Selvage/Salvage series is a play on the selvage edge of a piece of fabric as the edge that stops the fabric from fraying or unraveling. I’ve incorporated sewn lines in these works and am exploring how the human experience is often one of salvaging, reconciling, and acknowledging brokenness while working to piece disparate elements together in new ways.
